How We Work Together
Every child is different, and no two support plans look the same.
Rather than fitting your child into a fixed therapy model, I use an integrative approach, blending Paediatric Occupational Therapy, Functional Neurodevelopment, and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy based on your child’s individual needs.
This allows us to address the root cause of challenges, not just the symptoms.
All services are billed at the standard Occupational Therapy hourly rate.
Current OT Rate:
$193.99 per hour for all services
Where We Start
Step 1 - Telehealth Call
Parent Initial Consultation
This is usually the first step for families.
Before meeting your child in person, we begin with a parent-only telehealth consultation (typically 60 minutes).
This allows us to:
gather detailed background history
understand your concerns fully
discuss developmental patterns
review sleep, feeding, regulation, movement and behaviour
provide early parent education
answer your questions
identify priorities for assessment
This helps ensure your child’s first in-person session is more targeted, meaningful, and supportive.
Typical duration:
1 hour
Step 2 - In person Assessment
Child Assessment + Therapy
Following your initial parent consultation, we usually complete your child’s first in-person assessment (typically 60-90 minutes).
This session helps us assess:
nervous system regulation
primitive reflexes
sensory systems
postural control
oral motor function
movement patterns
visual and vestibular systems
functional challenges relevant to your child
From here, we create an individualised support plan.
Typical duration:
1.5 hours
Step 3 - Ongoing Support
Ongoing Support May Include:
Neurodevelopmental Occupational Therapy
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Parent Coaching + Education
Telehealth Consultations
Collaborative Team-Based Care
These are often used together, not separately, because children’s development is deeply connected across systems.
Support plans are always tailored to your child.
Not sure what to book?
You do not need to figure that out alone.
Most families start with the Parent Initial Consultation, and we determine the best next steps together.
